The goal of CCPO Youth Ministry is to support families with biblical teaching during these formative years, as their teens move from unquestioning acceptance of their parents’ religious views to their own relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We aim to help our young people understand what that means so that they might be born again as a child of God (John 3:3).
Since faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17), the Bible is the bedrock of all that we do and teach in Youth Group. The Bible answers questions, including, Where did I come from? Why am I here? And where am I going? We welcome tough questions and are ready to give real answers based on the Word of God!
In a world that is increasingly hostile towards Jesus Christ and His written Word, the Bible, it is our prayer and hope that CCPO Youth Group gatherings will help equip our young people to grow in faith and make the right choices in life.
