Dan Presba was saved at the age of 12 in a small Baptist church in Puyallup, Washington. His professional career spanned nearly 35 years in law enforcement, serving with the Washington State Patrol and Naval Criminal Investigative Service, retiring in October 2018. Dan now teaches Drivers’ Education part time at a local driving school. Dan and his wife Cindi have attended Calvary Church since September 2020, and Dan joined the Elder Board in 2022. As Elder, Dan helps the pastors protect and nurture the spiritual welfare of our fellowship. He also oversees church security and other matters related to the management of the church property. Dan and Cindi have two grown daughters and four grandchildren.
Dan says, “In March of 2020, the Lord opened my eyes to the craziness of this world and the end times we are living in, and my relationship with Jesus became dearer. We live in incredible times. I feel the urgency of the need to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost while there is still time and to encourage fellow believers, “Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and our Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13).
