As we review the familiar Christmas story, Pastor Kevin draws attention to many Old Testament prophecies concerning the first coming of the promised Messiah. Although the Jews of Jesus’ day knew these Scriptures, they failed to recognize Jesus as Messiah and embrace Him as their Savior. Since all prophecies of Jesus’ first coming were fulfilled in every detail, we can be confident that so will the prophecies that tell of His return. Pastor Kevin challenges us who are familiar with the Christmas story to examine ourselves today. Will I choose to believe the Scriptures and receive Jesus while there is still time? Or will I pridefully choose to ignore or reject Him? Do I merely know about Jesus, or do I know Him personally?
