What do comets and asteroids have to do with the global flood?

According to the Hydroplate Theory for the Flood of Noah, Walt Brown, PhD (Mechanical Engineering) posits that these extraterrestrial bodies formed from debris ejected from the earth during the cataclysm that initiated the flood:   “In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.  And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights” (Genesis 7:11-12 NKJV).  In this September 23, 2023 presentation at the Hydroplate Conference, Pastor Kevin discusses the origin of comets, as theorized by Dr. Walt Brown’s Hydroplate Theory.
