David mourns the death of Saul and Jonathan, quoting a lament from the book of Jasher, “The beauty of Israel is slain on your high places! How the mighty have fallen” (1 Samuel 31:19 NKJV)!
On this Communion Sunday, as we reflect on how the mighty have fallen in battle while defending their countries against their enemies, Pastor Kevin reminds us Jesus gave His life to save us from Satan, the enemy of our souls.
