Who Made You a Prince and Judge over Us? – Exodus 2:1-25

Continuing in the book of Exodus, we look at the account in Chapter 2 of Moses’ birth and early life until, at age 40, he fled Egypt in fear of Pharoah’s retribution for killing an Egyptian to save the life of a Hebrew man.  Pastor Kevin shows how Moses’ parents, in defying Pharoah’s order to kill their newborn male child, and Moses, in defending a Hebrew against the attacking Egyptian, were acting in a way that was consistent with their faith in God’s promises to Abraham, centuries before.  Pastor Kevin challenges us to remember and live by faith in God’s promises, regardless of the consequences.  Like Moses, we are strangers in a foreign land, looking forward in certain hope to God’s promises to us.
