Dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ

So the People Bowed Their Heads and Worshiped – Exodus 12:14-12:42

In the tenth and final plague, the Lord slew all the firstborn of in the land of Egypt, people and animals, with the exception of the  Israelites and others who obeyed God’s instructions to apply the blood of a blemish-free lamb to the lintel and doorposts of their homes.  Pharaoh, bereft of his own firstborn son, finally humbles himself and gives Moses permission for him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.  Pastor Kevin explains how this first Passover was a picture of what the Perfect Lamb of God, Jesus, would do on our behalf 1,500 years later on that very Feast of Passover.  May we, like the Israelites bow our heads and worship Jesus, our sin sacrifice, Who made a way for us to be rescued from the power and penalty of sin.
