CCPO Note: This article addresses primarily the “much-worse-than-we-thought” condition of the US Intelligence Agencies. However, as mounting evidence points to unparalleled levels of corruption, deception, censorship, and human rights abuses across multiple sectors including financial/economic; human health/medicine, elections, and foreign policy, we can see that the same assessment applies to many other US (and global) governmental and private institutions – it is worse than we thought. Increasing evil and many other prophetic signs indicate that our world is fast accelerating towards the time of global judgment when God will fulfill His warning, “I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible” (Isaiah 13:11 NKJV). About this time, Jesus told us, “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be” (Matthew 24:21 NKJV). As our world accelerates towards judgment, Christians eagerly look for “the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13 NKJV), “even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come” (1 Thessalonians 1:10 NKJV). The author, in a remark directed to Ms. Gabbard in the last paragraph, states, “As ugly and unsavory as the stench you have unearthed in your intelligence department may be, yours may still be the easier task when it comes to cleaning up the sewage mess which comes from the sickness that is prevalent in man.” Bible believers know that only Jesus can cure man’s sin-sickness and save us from the eternal punishment awaiting those who refuse Him and are condemned (John 3:16-17). Although Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was referring to the U.S., when lamenting that “things are worse than she thought,” it’s a statement which could apply to almost any area in the world at this point in time. The deterioration of leadership, in addition to the tremendous divide in ideology, philosophy, values, ethics, morals and judgment has become so at odds that there almost seems no way to come back from the downward spiral that is taking place at lightning speed.
