Middle East War Could Be Trigger for Much Larger Energy War

Note from Pastor Kevin Lea:  As this article reports, we are dangerously close to a major Middle East war involving Israel, the center of God’s prophetic plan.  Could this lead to fulfillment of one or more Bible prophecies about wars that are still future to us including the destruction of Damascus (Isaiah 17); Israel’s war with her near neighbors (Psalm 83); and the Gog-Magog War involving Russia and her allies including Turkey and Iran (Ezekiel 38‑29)?  In the videos below, I explain in depth what the Bible tells us about these future wars:
As we watch global alliances shift and align against Israel exactly as the Bible foretells, we know that all the nations of the world, including the U.S., will someday turn against Israel:  The burden of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:  “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.  And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it (Zechariah 12:1-3 NKJV).

However, the God of Israel will keep His promises by protecting Israel from destruction.  (Jeremiah 31:34‑36.)  Despite the chaos and hardship that will affect us should these wars occur in our lifetimes, believers take comfort in other promises of the God of Israel:  Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’  “Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish.  You shall seek them and not find them —  Those who contended with you. Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing.  For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, “Fear not, I will help you. Fear not, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel! I will help you,” says the Lord and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel (Isaiah 41:10-14 NKJV).

If the year of 2024 has proven anything so far, it’s that our worries about the potential outbreak of WWIII are absolutely reasonable. The skeptics making accusations of “conspiracy theory” and “doom and gloom” have been proven wrong yet again. The geopolitical atmosphere is turning sour fast.  I still don’t think a lot of people realize how truly volatile the situation is globally right now. From my point of view, WWIII has already begun, at least in economic terms.

Let’s not forget the fact that Ukraine is essentially a proxy for all of NATO against Russia. And, the situation in the Middle East is about to become much worse. Because of the alliances involved and the fragile nature of global energy exports there is a danger of systemic collapse should a wider war break out between Israel and multiple Arab nations.
