Note from pastor Kevin Lea: The author concludes this article with a warning to the church: “We must speak up, pray fervently, and prepare our families and churches--not with fear, but with faithful awareness. Because if we don't, we may wake up one day and discover that the cost of standing for Christ in a digital economy is higher than we ever imagined--and payable only with courage.” The Bible says that there is no stopping this train no matter how much we speak up or pray. The inevitable digital economy will soon be every bit as bad as the Bible told us it would be. As the world rejects the God who so loved us that He sent Jesus to make a way to be saved from sin , Satan inspired leaders have taken over to fill the vacuum with the tools necessary to play god by controlling the masses. The man-made, “all-knowing” police state cannot realize its dream to rule the world unless it has complete control over ALL buying and selling. The technological revolution has now made it possible for them to do so. Some time in the near future, these Satan inspired leaders will pick a date to collapse what is (i.e., fiat currencies) and replace them with a global, central bank, digital currency. They will then control the people by gifting them with a “livable wage” if they are compliant comrades. The universal basic income will be used to bribe the disgruntled and extort the non-compliant . This system will likely be in place for some years before the world ruler (the Antichrist) will add one more requirement in order for the global citizen to remain “in the system”. This new requirement is the Bible verse referred to in the first sentence of this author’s article:
“No one could buy or sell unless he had the mark…” — Revelation 13:17
It’s the kind of verse that used to make people shift uneasily in church pews. It was a warning that seemed distant, symbolic–maybe even metaphorical. But with recent developments in Europe and whispers of similar plans in the United States, the symbols are starting to look shockingly literal.
Last week, European Union finance ministers met to accelerate legislation for a digital euro–a centralized digital currency controlled by the European Central Bank. Eurogroup President Paschal Donohoe declared that despite some setbacks in 2024, “good progress” has been made and legislation could be finalized this year. That means the digital euro could go live as early as next year.
This is more than just a change in…
