A note from Pastor Kevin Lea follows this article.
China is using artificial intelligence as a tool to help it decide its foreign policy, detaching from the emotions of useless humans that get in the way of the thought process. What could possibly go wrong allowing A.I. to help decide foreign policy with other countries?
The South China Morning Post has reported that “Several prototypes of diplomatic systems using artificial intelligence are under development in China, according to researchers involved or familiar with the projects.”
The Post notes that “one early-stage machine, built by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is already being used by

Note from Pastor Kevin Lea: It appears that there is no stopping this technology, even though many are noting that artificial intelligence will be used to make humans obsolete, enslaved or dead. Jesus said that in the days just before He returns there will be a time of trouble that the world has never experienced before (Matthew 24:21). Some suspect that AI will play a part in this future Tribulation. I often feel we are getting close when I try to call a company, any company, hoping to get a real human to talk with me about a problem with their product. Just imagine how bad it will be when a robot nurse comes at you with a needle to draw blood (or so you think). If you don’t have saving faith in Jesus, what are you waiting for? Can’t you hear the footsteps of the Messiah’s return?
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world — the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life — is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:15-17 NKJV
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Rom 10:8-13 NKJV
