HPT Prediction Fulfilled! “NASA Asteroid Deflection Test (DART) Accidentally Creates A BOULDER SWARM That Could Impact the Earth with As Much Energy as the Hiroshima Detonation”

Natural News

August 11, 2023

Note from Pastor Kevin Lea. As this news article reports, NASA’s impact of the Dimorphos Asteroid in September 2022 created a “boulder storm” in space. While this result was completely unexpected to most astronomers, it came as no surprise to those who understand Dr. Walt Brown’s Hydroplate Theory (HPT) explanation for the origin of asteroids. In fact, I predicted beforehand that the Dimorphos impact could create a swarm of debris that headed our way despite all of NASA’s smug assurances that such a thing could never happen.  Following this news article are: An email I sent to University of Washington astronomy professor Dr. Brownlee more than six years before the DART mission in which I raise this possibility; and a record of the HPT-based predictions I made right after the DART impact with related follow-on correspondence and news articles.

Once again, we see the powerful predictive power of the HPT, a biblically consistent and scientifically viable explanation for the flood of Noah, which was a global cataclysm of unimaginable proportions. Even more importantly, we see the power of a holy God, knowing that just as He judged the ungodly on earth with a global flood thousands of years ago, He will again judge the ungodly, this time with fire (2 Peter 3:6-7). Christians know that Jesus will appear in the sky to take us to be with Him before judgment comes. Will you be one? If you are unsure, please see “Normal” isn’t coming back, Jesus is” (calvarypo.org/normal-isnt-coming-back-jesus-is-are-you-ready/) or contact us (calvarypo.org/contact/).

By Kevin Hughes.  Scientists have discovered that the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) accidentally released a storm of boulders ”as deadly as Hiroshima” during an experiment testing whether the trajectory of an asteroid can be changed.

In September 2022, NASA conducted its first “planetary defense” experiment known as the Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART), with the goal of intentionally crashing a spacecraft into the asteroid known as Dimorphos in an attempt to change its trajectory. NASA astronomers at the time concluded that the project was an amazing success, and Dimorphos’ trajectory was changed slightly. The success of DART proved to scientists that there could be a way to save the Earth from a potential extinction-level asteroid impact. (Related: “Invisible” asteroids could hit Earth at any time, researchers warn.)

But astronomers have now discovered that even though the impact succeeded, it also removed 37 boulders from Dimorphos, which are now zooming through space at a speed of around 13,000 miles per hour. The boulders were identified by the Hubble Space Telescope and range in size from three to 22 feet across. These space rocks are drifting away from Dimorphos at a speed of a little more than a half-mile per hour.

A 15-foot chunk of Dimorphos striking the Earth could be equivalent to another Hiroshima bomb. Astronomers noted that …  Read More

Correspondence between Dr. Brownlee of the University of Washington and Pastor Kevin Lea more than six years before the DART mission

Kevin Lea Sends an Email to Dr. Brownlee (Astronomy Professor at the University of Washington) Warning that the Ability to Successfully Deflect Asteroids would depend on whether Asteroids are Solid or Rock Piles (as the Hydroplate Theory would predict)

Dear Dr. Brownlee,

Congratulations on another year completed at UW. I trust things are well with you and yours.

This letter is a request to take you to lunch to discuss Dr. Walt Brown’s theory on the origin of Asteroids, as it pertains to how asteroid threats to earth should be mitigated if he is right.

We know that tens of millions of dollars are currently being spent trying to find NEO asteroids that could threaten earth. Should we detect one, billions will be spent trying to send something into space to deflect it if there is time (example – http://www.outerplaces.com/science/item/11450-scientists-develop-a-death-star-laser-weapon-to-protect-earth-from-asteroids).

Any plan to deflect will have to be based on assumptions about the composition of the asteroid. The physics behind the chosen plan may work for one composition (solid rock) but fail if the asteroid consists of a loosely held together rock pile.

Whatever the plan becomes, it is likely that the scientific community will only get one shot at a killer asteroid, so the importance of making sure they are right is paramount. The reason I am approaching you is that I suspect your opinion would be highly regarded should the citizens of planet earth need to come up with something in the not too distant future. If you have the information that I would like to discuss in your mix it might be extremely valuable to the team decision, even if you choose to discount it after we talk.

The last time we talked on the phone you admitted you were somewhat surprised to find Glycine on Wild2. But Dr. Brown’s theory expected to find organics and even amino acids in comets and/or asteroids based on where he postulates they came from. Now the Europeans have found Clycine on 67P along with fourteen other complex organics, rounded off boulders, the shape of the comet being consistent with other asteroids and comets that appear to have been two bodies that became one; all of which are perfectly consistent with Dr. Brown’s theory, but very surprising to others.

With data continuing to support that Dr. Brown may be right, and with the importance of knowing what comets and asteroids are made of should one be out there with our name on it, wouldn’t it be worth it to get together for an hour or two to discuss – just in case, off the record and with any other stipulation you would like to make?

Sincerely, Kevin Lea

Day 1 after DART Impact, Kevin Lea Predicts (based on HPT) Potential Threat to the Earth as a Result of DART Impact

Subject: Kevin’s guess at what DART did to Dimorphos before LICIACube images made public

Hi All,

Since DART confirmed what all HPT advocates suspected would be the case – i.e., that Dimorphos was a rock pile, I thought I should take a stab at predicting what the LICIACUBE cameras will show when the pictures are released.

My Guess:  The impact of DART is similar to that of a Q- Ball hitting pool balls on the break, except that instead of the Q-Ball hitting 15 balls in a plane that are arranged in the shape of a triangle, DART is hitting millions of rocks of various sizes and shapes, and dust throughout, all combined into a somewhat spherical shape.

As such, one would expect that the energy of the DART impact (about 11.2 Billion Joules (½ MV2– 1260 lbs, 14,000 mph – about 2.7 Tons of TNT) will cause this energy to travel in thousands of ways through Dimorphos, transferring energy from the impact site, to the rocks in the immediate area, which then transfer some of the energy to the rock next to them, and then to the rock next to those, etc. until the energy in each of the thousands of directions has created enough acceleration, of enough mass, to bring all motion to a stop in that direction.

I would suspect that this would result in Dimorphos having some of its surface rocks (at places all around the sphere of Dimorphos) being accelerated away from the surface, some with enough energy to escape Dimorphos.

Bryan Nickel has calculated that escape velocity for Dimorphos is about 4 inches per second. Therefore, any rock on the surface that receives enough impact energy to accelerate it to 4 inches per second, in a direction other than the main asteroid body of Didymos, will escape the Didymos / Dimorphos sphere of influence and go into their own orbits around the sun.

As such Dimorphos will lose some of its mass and quite possibly, despite NASA’s promises that the DART mission would not create a hazard to our planet, put some of the ejected rocks into orbit paths that will someday impact earth. If so, I suspect they will call the swarm, “the DART meteor shower”.

I would also expect that some of the impact site rock will be pulverized into powder and ejected as one would expect from a 2.7 tons of TNT impact energy. This pulverized rock will be ejected in an expected cone shape with velocities that will also put the debris in their own orbits around the sun.

I would suspect that the earth-based telescopes will see a larger light reflection from Dimorphos at first as the escaping rocks reflect light back to earth’s observers.

According to the article below, they will not be releasing the pictures of the impact until tomorrow. This is my best guess ahead of time, and I may be wrong about the above, and time will soon tell.

But one thing is for sure, the DART mission planners thought they would be hitting a solid asteroid, which was based on the big bang paradigm of how asteroids were formed.

The DART cameras were working for Dr. Walt Brown, and confirmed what is expected based on the Hydroplate Theory.

DART results are consistent with the theory that asteroids are floating piles of rock and dust that were ejected from the earth during the flood and then came together by gravitational attraction and aero breaking (when water was also present) to now be very loosely held together orbiting bodies.

Below is a news release about this Camera satellite that will be sending back pictures that are expected to be released to the public tomorrow:

Team members on NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) — the world’s first planetary defense test mission — confirmed the spacecraft’s own “mini-photographer” LICIACube (short for Light Italian CubeSat for Imaging Asteroids) successfully popped out of its spring-loaded box on Sept. 11.

Sending the signal to release LICIACube at 7:14 p.m. Sunday evening — exactly 15 days before DART is scheduled to impact the asteroid moonlet Dimorphos — DART team members watched with held breath for signal confirmation the CubeSat had deployed safely. Cheers rang out when the signal finally came nearly an hour later.

“We are so excited for this — the first time an Italian team is operating its national spacecraft in deep space!” exclaimed Simone Pirrotta, LICIACube project manager for the Italian Space Agency, which contributed and manages LICIACube. “The whole team is fully involved in the activities, monitoring the satellite status and preparing the approaching phase to the asteroid’s flyby. We expect to receive the first full-frame images and to process them a couple of days after DART’s impact. We’ll then use them to confirm impact and to add relevant information about the generated plume — the real precious value of our photos.”  Read More

December 13, 2022 Kevin Lea email to Dee McLellan,
NASA Ambassador and HPT advocate

Kevin asked Dee to forward the following questions to Dr. Brownlee of the University of Washington. (Dr. Brownlee headed the Stardust project, which successfully collected comet “dust” and other interstellar debris from space. Dee was in the clean room with Dr. Brownlee when the Stardust Team opened the recovered Space Probe on January 18, 2006.)

Subject: From Kevin – Questions for Dr. Brownlee

Hi Dee,

Sorry I couldn’t get these to you last week. Here are the questions I was hoping you can get to Dr. Brownlee. Please blind me on what you send him if you can.

Questions related to Webb: The Web Telescope was hit by a micrometeoroid between May 22 and 24 of this year, just four months after arriving at the L2 Lagrange point. In this article, https://www.space.com/james-webb-space-telescope-micrometeoroid-damage, the following statements are made:  A micrometeoroid struck the James Webb Space Telescope between May 22 and 24, impacting one of the observatory’s 18 hexagonal golden mirrors. NASA had disclosed the micrometeoroid strike in June and noted that the debris was more sizeable than pre-launch modeling had accounted for.

Question 1. Why was the larger size not considered pre-launch?

icrometeroids are a known danger of space operations, and facing them is by no means new to scientists; the International Space Station and the Hubble Space Telescope are among long-running programs that are still operational despite occasional space rock strikes. However, Webb’s orbit at Lagrange Point 2 about 1 million miles (1.5 million kilometers) away from the Earth may change the risk profile considerably.

Question 2. If being in the L2 can change the risk profile considerably, why was that not considered pre-launch?

Alternatively, it may be that Webb is “more susceptible to damage by micrometeoroids than pre-launch modeling predicted,” the team wrote. Modeling is ongoing to estimate the hazardous population of micrometeoroids and to figure out remedies, such as restricting pointing direction. One remedy could be minimizing the amount of time Webb points directly into its orbital direction, “which statistically has higher micrometeoroid rates and energies,” the team wrote.

Comment.  If my understanding is correct, if the increase in risk profile is because Webb is at L2 as stated earlier in the article, then pointing of the Webb will not decrease the threat and the expected lifetime may be shortened considerably. This is assuming that other micrometeriods were somehow captured into L2 in the past and are moving in the gravity well from any and all directions, and thus likely to impact Webb mirrors with similar or greater force than the one in May.

Questions related to DART: There has been very little news about the DART mission since impact. I am wondering about the following:

Question 1: If success was expected to be a change in Dimorphos’ orbital period by 73 seconds, why was it 32 minutes instead?

This is 26 times more of a change than expected. How did they miss it by that much? Am I wrong to think that this must mean that the density/mass of Dimorphos must have been about that much less than expected? I know that the French are sending another probe in 2024 to accurately measure the density of Dimorphos, but how were we so far off?

On 11 October, NASA declared DART a success, confirming it had shortened Dimorphos’ orbital period around Didymos by about 32 minutes, surpassing the pre-defined success threshold of 73 seconds. Diagram of the DART spacecraft striking Dimorphos. SATCAT no.

Question 2: It appears from the amount of ejecta that was accelerated away from Dimorphos that it must have been more of a rock pile asteroid than what mission planners were expecting. How could a pile of rocks come together to form Dimorphos? It looked like Didymous also had a rock pile surface when the DART camera was flying by. So the more complete question is how could a binary asteroid form out of rock piles?

Question 3: For awhile, there was a comet tail appearance in the ejecta. What was learned from the light spectrometry?

Question 4: Was there water vapor released by the impact which contributed to the comet appearance? If so, then how did water and rocks come together to form this asteroid?

Question 5: What was the calculated amount of ejecta (cubic meters/mass) that left Dimorphos?

Question 6: Has anyone done an analysis on the orbital paths that the ejecta has taken?

Question 7: And is it is possible that someday Earth will be having a DART meteor shower?

Hi Kevin,

I sent your questions to Don Brownlee today. I sent him an email with some other news and added your questions as an attachment. I told him that you are a real seeker and truly want to understand. I will let you know if I hear from him. I also told him that I would love to visit him and see his lab someday.

Concluding Note from Pastor Kevin

Dr. Brownlee has not yet responded to Dee regarding my questions. But we now know from the opening news article that there is a chance NASA made false promises to the world about the safety of the DART mission, and a Hiroshima-size catastrophe could hit Earth because of their Big Bang paradigm error.

The Bible warns that in the last days, Earth will be impacted by incoming objects from space that will cause massive devastation. These objects, formerly comets and asteroids in outer space, comprise debris that is returning to earth after being ejected from the earth during the explosive bursting of the fountains of the great deep (Genesis 7:11), the cataclysmic event that initiated the global flood of Noah.  These incoming celestial missiles will pulverize the earth’s crust, cause the earth to roll on its axis, and trigger massive earthquakes and volcanic eruptions all over the earth.  Terrified people will flee to caves seeking safety (Revelation 6:15).

NASA is deceived and has deceived the world.  Jesus is the God/Man who came to earth to save whoever is willing to turn away from their worldly deceptions and come to the truth.  Jesus’ empty tomb is proof that He is not deceiving you.  I beg the reader to repent of your rebellion against the true God of the Bible, if you have not done so already, and then put your trust in Jesus as your Savior while there is still time.  Consider the following Scriptures: *

Isaiah 24:19-23 The earth is violently broken, the earth is split open, the earth is shaken exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard and shall totter like a hut; Its transgression shall be heavy upon it, and it will fall, and not rise again. It shall come to pass in that day that the Lord will punish on high the host of exalted ones [Satan and Demons] and on the earth the kings of the earth [global government of the coming antichrist]. They will be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and will be shut up in the prison; after many days they will be punished. Then the moon will be disgraced and the sun ashamed; for the Lord of hosts will reign On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem [the Second Coming of Jesus] and before His elders, gloriously.

2 Peter 3:5-9 For this they [mockers of the coming judgment of God] willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Revelation 8:8-11 Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.  And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.

Revelation 6:12-17 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!  For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

Revelation 16:17-21 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.
